SCOPE OF WORKS

The client requied her kitchen floor tiling and had concerns that her new travertine tiles may crack during installation.

Map removed all existing floor coverings and obstacles and refixed the existing floor boards down to the joists below, and then followed this by covering the entire floor in a high grade plyboard screwed to the underlying floor boards at 12inch bidirectional centres to create a firm surface for the laying of the new tiles, which were supplied by the client.

The tiles where then laid using a high quality flexible adhesive, assuring accurate cuts around units and the room perimeter to assure a high quality finish.

This followed by application of a high quality grout and polishing of the tiles created a lovely tiled floor that complements the existing Kitchen Units.
